Visitors,Protecting the privacy of your health information is important. We are pleased to tell you about a federal law that is designed to help protect the privacy of that health information. This recently implemented law is known as the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
The Notice of Privacy Practices ("the Notice") explains our use of your medical or health information. We hope that the Notice helps you to understand the ways we use and protect your health information.
In addition to the Notice of Privacy Practices, we have provided a few links and forms to help you with your medical information at the University of Chicago.
