Ideally, you should try to memorize your passwords and not write them down. However, if you MUST write them down -- never store them near your computer, with your laptop, under your keyboard, or stick them on your monitor! Instead, write them down and store them in your wallet or lock them in a secure place such as a drawer. Make sure to take extreme care not to lose the paper on which you have written the passwords. You should destroy the paper (e.g. tear it to shreds) once you have learned the new passwords.
