What Is The HPO?

The HIPAA Program Office (HPO) serves as a resource to staff, faculty, and patients by providing information, tools, and support on patient privacy and information security matters.  Kerry DeMott is the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer and Bob Gross is the HPO Director.  If you have questions or concerns about patient privacy or information security, please stop by our office in L147 Wyler Building or call 4-9716.  You can also call the anonymous Compliance Resource Line at 1-877-440-5480.  For additional information access the HPO website at http://hipaa.bsd.uchicago.edu.
